Belarus, China agree to strengthen cooperation in mechanical engineering - the sides will offer each other
The National Export Support Center (NCCE) of Belarus and the China Federation of Machinery Industry (CMIF) agreed to strengthen cooperation. About.

The National Export Support Center (NCCE) of Belarus and the China Federation of Machinery Industry (CMIF) agreed to strengthen cooperation. This was reported in the press service of the center, writes sb.by.

Director of the NCCE Nikolai Borisevich held a working meeting with the CMIF delegation headed by Deputy Chairman Sun Zhiming. The delegation included heads of leading machine-building enterprises and specialized research organizations of the PRC.
During the meeting, the Chinese side was presented with the functionality of the NCCE as a national institution for promoting foreign trade. Special attention was paid to the need to form an effective link between the business circles of Belarus and China.
“For the successful implementation of joint projects in mechanical engineering, a smart mediator is needed – an intermediary that will provide not just translation, but an understanding of the specifics of markets, regulatory requirements and production chains,” said Nikolai Borisevich. Our task is not just to organize a meeting and exchange presentations. Our task is to take partners by the hand and show them the way to go.”.
The Director of the NCCE confirmed the Center’s readiness to provide comprehensive assistance in establishing business contacts, finding partners and implementing joint initiatives. Song Zhiming presented the CMIF model, highlighting four key areas of the federation’s activities: strategic advice to members on entering foreign markets, creating a platform for the exchange of technologies and business contacts, building interaction between Chinese enterprises and foreign partners, and facilitating Chinese businesses’ access to foreign markets.
The key outcome of the meeting was an agreement on strengthening cooperation between the NCCE and CMIF. The parties agreed to form a permanent information exchange channel that will allow to promptly bring up-to-date information about business requests, commercial proposals and changes in regulation to the business circles of the two countries. According to the participants of the meeting, it is system communication, rather than one-time contacts, that can give cooperation in mechanical engineering the necessary depth, practical orientation and stability.
Belarus sees its Chinese partners as allies who share the strategic importance of mechanical engineering as the foundation of economic development. The Belarusian production school and Chinese technological dynamics have a significant potential for complementarity. Their combination can create new opportunities for industrial cooperation, technological exchange and access to third markets.
In addition, the years 2026-2027, declared the Years of Industrial Cooperation between Belarus and China, open up additional opportunities for deepening bilateral cooperation. “Mechanical engineering of the two countries demonstrates a high degree of complementarity. We aim to build stable and efficient value chains that will benefit both economies.
Summing up, Nikolai Borisevich noted: In our work we are guided by a simple rule: any problem has several solutions. The only question is to find the only one that suits both sides. This is what the NCCE is doing – we are looking for solutions where others see only obstacles, the director of the center concluded.
