The Rosselkhoznadzor revealed a violation when importing into Chuvashia a batch of fresh melons from Kazakhstan with a volume of 21 tons.
The violation was discovered on October 19 in the FGIS “Argus-Fito”. According to the agency, the receiving organization from Moscow did not notify the Rosselkhoznadzor Office of the arrival of quarantine products.
This is a violation of the requirements of the legislation on plant quarantine and the rules of phytosanitary control in the territory of the EAEU.
In respect of controlled persons, warnings were announced about the inadmissibility of violations.
Since the beginning of 2026 in Chuvashia in the field of plant quarantine announced 13 such warnings.
