In Dagestan after overhaul opened a bridge across Sulak

The bridge over the Sulak River, providing access to the Sulak Canyon, was opened after major repairs. This was announced by the Chairman of the government of Dagestan Magomed Ramazanov.

The facility is located on 37.2 km of the highway Kizilyurt - Dubki - New Chirkey with the entrance to the village of Miatli. This bridge provides transport links to the Kizilyurt and Kazbekov districts, duplicates the section of the federal highway R-217 "Caucasus" and makes traffic in this direction safer and more convenient.

The bridge is of particular importance for the development of tourism, Ramazanov noted. It provides access to the Sulak Canyon, the Old Zubutli, the Glavryba tourist complex and other popular holiday destinations. Every year, these territories attract more and more tourists, so it is important that the road infrastructure meets the growing flow.
