In Egorievsk inspected municipal equipment before the winter season

On the eve of the cold weather in the urban district of Egorievsk, a comprehensive review of the forces and means responsible for the cleanliness of the streets took place. Specialists of the relevant departments, together with the deputy corps and representatives of the executive power, assessed the degree of readiness of the municipal improvement service for the upcoming snowfalls and ice.

During the field meeting, the director of the institution Dmitry Zernov reported on the current state of the special equipment park. The main emphasis was placed on the conversion of machines to work in extreme weather conditions, as well as on the formation of sufficient stocks of reagents. To date, utilities have 82 units at their disposal, of which 69 units of basic equipment and 45 units of attachments and trailers have already been fully prepared for operation. More than 1.7 thousand tons of technical salt were harvested to combat ice on the roads. In addition, there is a reserve fund of cars in case of abnormal snowfall.

Significant adjustments have been made to the logistics of cleaning remote areas. While there were delays in some villages last season due to third-party contractors, the municipality has now taken direct control of these areas. Such a solution will reduce the response time to weather vagaries and improve the quality of cleaning in the outback.

Separately, the task was noted to ensure timely clearing of roads and public spaces, treatment of coatings with deicing materials and safe movement of residents throughout the district - regardless of the remoteness of the settlement.
