Ready over 90%. Large-scale modernization at the enterprise "Kormalen" in the Gomel region is coming to completion

Modernization at the enterprise "Kormalen" has reached the finish line. This was reported by the chief engineer of the enterprise Svetlana Sukharkova, writes sb.by.

New double-threaded lines are installed here for the simultaneous production of long and short flax fibers.

This is high-tech equipment, it is automated, fully computerized. The readiness of the object is more than 90%. The main complex construction and installation work has been completed, installation and adjustment of equipment of the Chinese manufacturer are underway. The chief installation is carried out by a representative of the manufacturer, said Svetlana Sukharkova.

According to her, the design capacity for processing flax trusts is 4.6 thousand tons per year. Nominal productivity for raw materials is 1.2 thousand kg / h. The launch of new lines provides for the creation of up to 20 new jobs. The implementation of the investment project will increase the output of finished products, reduce costs, increase profits. The scale is also evidenced by the area of construction - about 3 thousand square meters. It's essentially a new facility. Shokha is also being reconstructed - a canopy for storing raw materials (flax trusts), taking into account the increase in sown areas of culture, a new storage facility is being built.

According to the company, they intend to complete all work and launch the lines in October. This year’s harvest will be partially processed at new facilities.

In parallel, the improvement of the adjacent territory is being carried out. Every day several teams of different profiles work at the facility, dozens of specialists perform the work.

"Kormalen" is a city-forming enterprise. This is a full-cycle production - from sowing crop areas to processing of raw materials and production.

All construction and installation works in the Mozyr maternity hospital are planned to be completed in 2026
