In the Samara region, utility tariffs increased by an average of 8.9% from October 1

From October 1, 2026, the second stage of indexation of utility tariffs came into force in the Samara region for the current year. Residents of the regional capital and other municipalities of the region will see the updated amounts in payment documents only in November.

However, the scale of the financial increase can be estimated now: on average, the cost of services in the subject of the federation increased by about 8.9 percent.

The previous increase in tariffs occurred in January of this year and was directly related to the increase in the value added tax rate.

Now a cubic meter of natural gas for apartments equipped exclusively with gas stoves costs consumers 11.95 rubles. For owners of private homes using gas for full heating, the price is set at a lower level of 8.73 rubles.

Significant changes have also been made in the area of solid municipal waste management. The maximum regional tariff for garbage collection services has officially increased and now amounts to 864.37 rubles for each cubic meter. This measure is aimed at covering the growing costs of the regional operator for logistics and environmental recycling.
