Modern technologies of high-strength concrete are planned to be more widely implemented in the construction complex of Belarus. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Construction Architecture, writes sb.by.

The issue was considered at the republican scientific and practical seminar organized by the Ministry of Architecture and Construction and RUE "Institute of Housing - Atayev S. S. NIPTIS". The event was attended by practitioners, scientists, representatives of the construction industry and concrete manufacturers. The seminar brought together those who are daily faced with the production of reinforced concrete structures and the need to quickly build buildings.
“The main task of the construction industry is to build as quickly and efficiently as possible. The world does not stand still, new technologies and uses of cement are constantly emerging. Approaches to the construction of reinforced concrete structures are also changing. In a number of areas of the construction materials industry, growth is observed. At the same time, in some areas, production volumes remain or decrease. It is important to understand that we are developing in-demand areas. We are increasing the production of products that are now needed on construction sites, and we move away from what is losing relevance, said the head of the main department of industry of the Ministry of Construction Architecture Yevgeny Tatarino.
The seminar programme covered a wide range of topics. Among them are new requirements for concrete mixtures and structural concretes in accordance with STB 2674-2025, problems of high-strength concrete manufacturing technology, digital technologies in concrete production management, rationing of cement and rolled metal consumption, chemical additives to increase the durability of concrete and experience in industrial application, features of strength control, foreign experience in obtaining concrete.
“Such meetings allow not only to exchange experience and get acquainted with new technologies and methods, but also to outline the vectors of further development of the industry so that the quality and speed of construction of buildings grow, and the cost of production of building materials decreases,” the press service said.
