In Venezuela reported a record increase in oil production

Oil production in Venezuela reached 1 million 252 thousand barrels per day – the highest level in recent months. This was announced by the Vice President of the state company Petróleos de Venezuela S. A. (PDVSA) Pinto Salazar.

According to him, the growth was provided, including the western region of the country, where production amounted to 382.5 thousand barrels per day. The joint venture of Petrozamora in the state of Zulia reached an indicator of 115 thousand barrels per day.

Salazar said that by the end of the year Petrozamora plans to increase production to 120 thousand barrels per day. He presented these data to the authorized President Delcy Rodriguez at a meeting on the implementation of oil and gas agreements with the United States.

The meeting also welcomed the start of 17 agreements signed in August between PDVSA and North American Blue Energy Partners. They provide for the restoration of production in the fields in the basin of Lake Maracaibo and the Orinoco oil belt.
