The 40th Interregional Agricultural Exhibition has started in Volgograd
At the sites of the agro-industrial forum, advanced agricultural machinery and equipment were presented, and discussion platforms were launched, where the most pressing issues of the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region were discussed

As reported in the regional Committee of agriculture, its work was attended by Deputy Governor of the Volgograd region Vasily Ivanov, Chairman of the regional Duma Committee on agrarian policy and biological protection Alexander Shevchenko, heads of relevant authorities, representatives of federal and regional departments, scientific and public organizations, as well as leading agricultural producers from all regions of the region.
Speaking to the participants, Vasily Ivanov stressed that the system renewal of the fleet significantly strengthens the potential of the agro-industrial complex of the region. According to him, the use of modern agricultural technologies and high-performance machinery directly helps to increase the yield of many crops.
The issues of agricultural production growth were discussed in detail at the thematic conference within the framework of the forum. Experts noted that in 2026, farmers harvested a good harvest of grain, and also achieved high rates when harvesting industrial crops, vegetables and fruits. One of the important factors of success was the technical modernization of the industry.
By the beginning of October, agricultural producers with the involvement of state support purchased 787 units of equipment worth more than 7 billion rubles. Among them are 153 tractors, 106 combine harvesters and 528 pieces of other equipment. At the same time, 64 tractors, 57 combine harvesters and 285 units of other equipment were purchased through Rosagroleasing for a total of almost 3 billion rubles.
The accumulated pace of development and the formed technological basis allow the region to confidently move towards the implementation of key tasks: to ensure the food sovereignty of the country, to implement a 10-year profile program on behalf of Governor Andrei Bocharov, and to achieve the targets of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”.
