Voronezh authorities intend to increase the subsistence minimum in the region for 2027

Voronezh authorities intend to increase the subsistence minimum in the region for 2027. The relevant draft resolution of the regional government was posted on Tuesday, October 27, on the portal of anti-corruption expertise.
As follows from the document, the growth of the subsistence minimum will be 6.8%. Relative to the indicator in force in 2026, the increase will be equal to 1134 rubles - from 16666 to 17800 rubles. Recall that the size of the subsistence minimum depends on the volume of social payments and measures to support citizens with low incomes.
If we talk about certain categories, then for the able-bodied population of the region it is proposed to set the value at the level of 19402 rubles - this is 1236 rubles higher than the current (18166 rubles).
Pensioners will increase the figure by 975 rubles - from 14333 to 15308 rubles, and children - by 1100 rubles, from 16166 to 17266 rubles. Thus, the growth for all categories will be the same – the same 6.8%.
The explanatory note states that the subsistence minimum is calculated according to the rules approved by the Russian government. When calculating the amount, the coefficient of regional differentiation equal to 0.88 for the Voronezh region was used.
The new values will be effective from January 1, 2027 after the approval of the decree. At the same time, the document emphasizes that its adoption will not entail additional costs from the regional budget.
Earlier it was reported that the increase in pensions awaits Voronezh residents in 2027.
