Vladimir customs transferred to the federal budget more than a billion rubles

Since the beginning of the year, Vladimir customs has provided more than one billion rubles to the federal budget. The results of the work were commented by the head of the department Pavel Pavlov on the eve of the 35th anniversary of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

According to him, customs authorities are trying to speed up the clearance of goods that are delivered to local businesses and companies. Most of the export goods, as noted by Pavlov, are produced automatically, which makes the procedures more operational.

At the same time, the department reveals violations of customs legislation. Since the beginning of the year, 16 criminal cases related to the illegal export of technologies and evasion of customs duties have been initiated.

In addition, cases of smuggling of military and dual-use goods, strategically important resources and potent substances were detected. More than a thousand cases of administrative offences have been initiated against violators.
