Tula authorities will buy 11 electronic scoreboards for 2.4 million rubles

The administration of Tula announced plans to further modernize the public transport passenger information system. It is planned to purchase and install modern devices for visualization of the arrival forecast of transport. 2.44 million rubles will be allocated for these purposes.

The scale of the project provides for the installation of 11 information boards at stops in the city. All works on installation and adjustment of equipment must be performed within 15 calendar days after the conclusion of the contract.

Purchased devices must be equipped with color LED screens with a resolution of 128x96 pixels, the ability to display information about the time of arrival of transport, the current date and air temperature. The scoreboards will be able to work in various display modes, including static text and a running line.

An important feature of the new devices will be their ability to work in all weather conditions. The equipment will be protected from precipitation, temperature changes (from -40 to +85 degrees) and other climatic influences. The information on the scoreboard will be well read both day and night at a distance of up to 30 meters.

Integration of the system with the existing transport monitoring platform will provide passengers with the most accurate information about the time of arrival of public transport. Equipment manufacturers must ensure full compatibility with the urban navigation system.

Recall, as previously wrote “MK in Tula”, for the improvement of the Tula square “Meeting” allocated 100 million rubles.
