Rescuers of the Center for Action and Emergency Situations of the Yaroslavl Region published an appeal to the Governor of the Yaroslavl Region on social networks. On two pages, they report the problems they face. This is primarily a small salary and the actual lack of benefits.
Rescuers complain that their salary has not been indexed for 4 years. and is a little more than 32 thousand rubles a month. That the food rations laid down by law or the amount of food compensation during the period of daily duty has not been paid for a year. It has not been indexed and delayed.
No retirement benefits. The currently established monthly supplement to the pension upon reaching the age of 65 is 340 rubles per month. That doesn't sound like a benefit.
Meanwhile, rescuers are on duty every day and work on the most difficult incidents. They are highly qualified in several specialties. They can work as firefighters, divers, gas-divers, welders, slingers, industrial climbers, cynologists. Perform work on fires, accidents, oil spills, search for drowned, search for lost in the forest and so on. In many difficult situations, people call for rescuers.
4 years ago, the topic of fair wages and benefits for difficult work was raised at the meetings of the regional Duma. After publicity, rescuers were raised payments. But the annual indexation of wages did not come to pass.
