Residents of Ershovo were left without parking: yards were occupied by car sharing machines

Residents of the village of Ershovo faced with an acute shortage of parking spaces: courtyards and public parking were occupied by car-sharing cars, which, according to local residents, idle in one place for five or more days. According to residents, the situation was checked by license plates of cars – a significant part of the vehicles belong to short-term rental services.

The reason for the current imbalance residents call the difference in the cost of completing the lease: in Ershov, this amount is about 500 rubles, while in neighboring Zvenigorod it has already reached 5000 rubles. Such a tariff policy, according to residents, encourages car sharing users to leave cars in Ershov, which ultimately deprives indigenous people of the opportunity to park near their homes. Separately, it is noted that the current restrictions allow you to move on such cars only within the city, and the completion of the lease beyond its borders entails penalties.

Residents have already appealed to car sharing services with a demand to cancel the existing zones in Ershov, however, according to them, the situation has not changed yet. In this regard, the local community is discussing the question: what steps to take to return parking spaces to residents?
