The number of new shopping centers in Moscow decreased by 2.5 times
For nine months of this year, four shopping centers with a total rental area of 58,700 square meters were opened in Moscow. This is stated in the report of the consulting company NF Group. It clarifies that in January-September 2025, the capital’s developers launched 10 such facilities for 108,900 square meters. Accordingly, the figures decreased by 60 and 46%. Almost 60% of the new commissioning accounted for the Kraski shopping center (35,000 square meters) in Nekrasovka, according to NF Group. In addition, this year, Nakhimov complexes were completed near the Nakhimovsky Prospekt, Assortida station on the site of the Volgograd cinema near the south-east and dynamics station in new Moscow, but their area is much smaller: from 6200 to 9000 sq. m.
