The Meshchansky district court of the capital sentenced the former vice-president of ANO “Oboronstroy” Irina Yasakova to five years in a general regime colony. In the debate, the prosecutor asked for her seven and a half years. Yasakova did not admit her guilt.
According to investigators, Irina Yasakova no later than June 2021 developed a plan for the theft of buyer’s funds when selling a building in Romanov Lane. She knew about the decision of the Second Court of Cassation of December 2, 2020, which recognized the auction for the sale of the object as invalid, but hid this information from the businessman Igor Malozemov.
In July 2021, Ms. Yasakova convinced Malozemov to conclude a contract of sale, assuring him of the absence of disputes and encumbrances. Yasakova first received a deposit of 500 thousand rubles, and after registration of the transaction – 54.5 million rubles, which she disposed of at her discretion. The total damage amounted to 55 million rubles.
