The Russian bank failed to achieve a review of the court decision on the controversial loan of 180 thousand rubles, citing the Supreme Court ruling in the case of singer Larisa Dolina. About it writes “RIA Novosti” with reference to court materials.
The investigation began after third parties issued a loan agreement on behalf of a resident of St. Petersburg. The woman claimed that she did not receive any funds, appealed to law enforcement agencies, and then filed a lawsuit to invalidate the contract. The court took into account that the loan was issued from a mobile device atypical for the client, and that in the process the phone number for logging in was changed.
As a result, the contract was declared invalid, and the woman was released from loan obligations. The bank recovered 10 thousand rubles. compensation for moral damage, 5 thousand rubles. fine and 24 thousand rubles. court costs.
The bank insisted that the contract was concluded remotely using a login, password or one-time codes received by the client on the phone, and therefore saw no reason to consider the contract executed by third parties. Later, the credit institution asked to reconsider the decision on new circumstances, citing the Supreme Court ruling in the case of Larissa Dolina. The bank said the situation was identical.
However, the court in St. Petersburg rejected the application of the credit institution. The court pointed out that the decision of the Supreme Court in itself is not grounds for reviewing the already completed case. In addition, the court noted that the actual circumstances of the two disputes do not coincide.
In the summer of 2024, Larisa Dolina said that she was the victim of fraudsters. According to the actress, the attackers forced her to sell an apartment in Khamovniki and give them the money. Ms. Dolina challenged the deal, after which legal proceedings began. As a result, in December 2025, the Supreme Court left the ownership of the buyer of the apartment – Polina Lurie.
