Home arrest: a huge Maine Coon cat locked the hostess on the balcony
A curious incident in Siberia: a woman went out to breathe fresh air, and her red pet slammed the balcony door. To free the Russian woman, rescuers had to be called.
A resident of Novosibirsk was in an unexpected trap in his apartment. The culprit of her “conclusion” on the balcony was a pet – a large Maine Coon cat.
As told in the municipal emergency service of the city, the Siberian decided to briefly go to the balcony, just to get some fresh air. At this point, her furry ward remained in the room.
A moment later, the woman heard a distinct and characteristic sound of “klatz” – the balcony door closed tightly, and the lock was blocked. On the other side of the glass remained the culprit of the incident, which the rescuers themselves later jokingly called “a huge, unflappable and red bully”.
Since the woman could not open the door on her own, she had to call emergency services. The staff who arrived at the address assessed the situation and decided to open the lock of the front door to get inside the housing and rescue the hostess from imprisonment.
Fortunately, the operation was quick and successful. Rescuers also ironically added that while the owner of the apartment froze on the balcony, the red Maine Coon at least did not have time to take advantage of the moment and pull the patties from the table.
