Accident near Kalinkovichi: the car capsized in the ditch, killed a woman
In the Kalinkovichi district there was a fatal accident: a 55-year-old female driver could not cope with the control, the car drove into a ditch and capsized.
In the Kalinkovichi district, an accident occurred: due to loss of control, the car capsized - as a result, a passenger died. This was reported in the press service of the UGAI of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.
The accident occurred on November 8 at about 14:05 on the sixth kilometer of the Ozarichi – Kazansk – Kozlovichi highway. According to preliminary data, a 55-year-old woman who was driving a Toyota car lost control of the car – the vehicle slid into a ditch and overturned.
As a result of the incident, the 33-year-old passenger received injuries incompatible with life, and died right at the scene of the accident. The driver was injured and taken to a medical facility.
The traffic police once again focused on the basic safety rules: it is important to keep concentration behind the wheel and not be distracted. Before leaving, you should make sure that the car is healthy. In addition, the use of seat belts is a prerequisite for a safe trip - this applies to the driver and all passengers.
