The Minsk police asked a man who for a year invested money in a non-existent exchange and lost 27 thousand BYN, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

According to investigators, the Minsk resident found online advertising about earnings on the stock exchange. On Telegram, he wrote to a “financial specialist” who helped register on the platform and offered to trade on his behalf.

During the year, the man invested funds, and he was provided with reporting documents. One day he could not enter his personal account - he was blocked.

According to his curator, he had to contribute another 6.7 thousand BYN to unlock. Minchan was going to transfer the money, but first told his wife. The woman recognized the fraud and advised to go to the police.

Law enforcers opened a criminal case for fraud.
