The Department of Rospotrebnadzor in St. Petersburg announced a warning of JSC “Petersburg Pharmacies” after the complaint of residents of Peterhof. The reason was the noise from the pharmacy refrigerator, which prevents citizens to rest. Information is posted on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office.
As follows from the inspection materials, the refrigerator compressor was installed against the wall adjacent to the living room. Its hum is particularly disturbing for residents of an apartment building on Konstantinovskaya Street in the evening.
According to sanitary standards, the noise level in residential areas should not exceed 40 dBA during the day and 30 dBA at night. Note that dBA are normal decibels, but adjusted for how loud the human ear hears. Specialists of the supervisory authority saw signs of violation of these requirements.
Organizations and entrepreneurs using non-residential premises in residential buildings are obliged to prevent exceeding the permissible levels of noise and vibration. As a result, Rospotrebnadzor demanded that St. Petersburg Pharmacies take measures and ensure compliance with sanitary standards in neighboring apartments.
This is not the first warning that St. Petersburg pharmacies have received recently. Earlier, GATI recorded vegetation and broken steps on the company building.
