Nephew of killer breaks hand of witness in case, forcing to change testimony

As it became known “MK”, the attack on the witness was preceded by a domestic murder, which occurred in the suburban village of Osipovo Solnechnogorsk city district. On August night of 2024, a local resident died there. A 72-year-old neighbor came to him, asked for a cigarette, the men quarreled, and an elderly guest stabbed the owner. He may have planned the murder in advance, as the participants in the quarrel have clashed before. It was not possible to solve the crime immediately, but later another resident of the village said that he saw a pensioner walking towards the victim's house - he was wearing gloves and clutching a knife with one hand. And then the old man went back and there was blood on the knife.

The pensioner was detained. His nephew found out about the incident; he also found out whose testimony played an important role in exposing the criminal. Then the relative of the accused came to the witness’s home, severely beat him and demanded that he recant his words, adding: “Otherwise you should khan.” A few days later, the story was repeated on the street - the belligerent nephew again mutilated the witness of the crime, breaking his arm. But the principled man confirmed the previous testimony.

As a result, a criminal case was opened against the nephew of a pensioner under Article 309 of Part 3 of the Criminal Code - "Forcing a witness to give false testimony committed with the use of violence." He did not admit his guilt and until the last said that he did not touch anyone. However, the court sentenced the man to 1 year of probation. His uncle, by the way, did not get away so easily - he received 8 years in prison for killing a neighbor.
