The court found a resident of the city of Izberbasha guilty of attempted murder and illegal sale of firearms. This was reported by the joint press service of Dagestan courts.

It was established that on March 31 this year, a man on the basis of a debt conflict attacked an acquaintance and inflicted multiple stabs with a knife. He could not bring the intent to kill to the end - his actions were stopped, and the victim was given medical care in a timely manner.

In addition, in 2019, the accused illegally appropriated a found hunting rifle and kept it at home, and in 2024 sold for 4 thousand rubles without permission. The weapons were seized by police in April 2026.

The Izberbash city court sentenced the defendant to 9 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony with the time of detention in custody from April 1, 2026. Proceeds from the sale of guns 4 thousand rubles turned into the state income.
