Firefighters eliminated the fire in the capital’s store
Rescuers quickly eliminated the fire - no casualties.
A message about the fire in the store, located on the first floor of a nine-storey residential building on Chervyakova Street in Minsk, was received by rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to preliminary information, property caught fire in the household on an area of about one square meter.
Even before the arrival of the Emergencies Ministry, the store employees, using the warning system, organized the evacuation of visitors and staff. A total of 50 people were removed from the building.
Rescuers quickly eliminated the fire. After that, they carried out forced ventilation of the room using smoke blowers to remove combustion products and ensure the safety of the facility.
Seven units of Emergencies Ministry equipment were sent to the scene.
No one was injured in the incident. Experts determine the cause of the fire and all the circumstances of the incident.
