Drunk motorcyclist from the Lipetsk region tried to buy off the traffic police with money and a motorcycle

In the Usman district 57-year-old man will appear in court for trying to bribe employees of the traffic police. After stopping the motorcycle without a registration plate, he offered the inspectors 60 thousand rubles and the transport itself.

According to the SU IC of Russia in the Lipetsk region, the case occurred on the morning of May 16, 2026. The man was driving while intoxicated. When he was stopped by traffic police, he tried to avoid administrative punishment and offered them money along with a motorcycle.

However, the inspectors refused remuneration and reported an attempt to bribe the duty unit. It was not possible to transfer the bribe to the man.

During the investigation, the accused admitted his guilt and told about the circumstances of the incident. The evidence gathered also confirms his involvement in the crime.

The investigation is complete. The criminal case with the indictment approved by the prosecutor was sent to the court.
