Crowd of 31 teenagers staged a “spontaneous” robbery of a supermarket in Russia

In Vologda (Russia), law enforcement officers stopped a mass robbery of a grocery store, which was committed by an organized group of minors. Police had to take more than three dozen children to the department.

The incident happened at the supermarket. The duty unit received an emergency signal that a huge crowd of teenagers broke into the outlet. In front of eyewitnesses, they began to hurriedly grab products from the shelves: chocolate, fruit and drinking yogurt, after which they ran out into the street with all the gushers.

Interior Ministry officers quickly responded to the call and intercepted violators near the crime scene. A total of 31 children were brought to the department. The age of the young raiders varied greatly: the youngest participant of the raid was only 9 years old, and the oldest was 16 years old.

“Spontaneous” theft led by the admin

The survey of young sweet tooth was conducted in the presence of their parents and legal representatives. Curious details emerged about how the teens were coordinated.

The students were not long-time friends – they wrote off in one of the social networks and met for a joint walk on the ad in the public.

Among the caught violators was the administrator of the Internet community, who called peers to meet.

The police said that initially no one was going to rob the supermarket – the decision to surround the counters with sweets came to them absolutely “spontaneously”, when the crowd simply passed the doors of the store.

At the moment, representatives of law enforcement agencies calculate the exact amount of financial damage caused to the outlet. Interviews are held with adolescents and their families, and the issue of bringing parents to administrative responsibility is being resolved.
