Investigators are working on the scene of a fatal accident in the Vilei district. A criminal case has been opened. This sb.by reported in the Investigative Committee.

According to preliminary information, today at about 20:40, an 18-year-old girl, without the right to drive a vehicle, was driving a Volkswagen Polo on the R28 highway Minsk-Molodechno-Naroch. Near the agro-town of Luban, she failed to manage and went to the oncoming lane, where she made a head-on collision with Mitsubishi Outlander under the control of a 33-year-old man.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the passenger car and his passengers 19 and 20 years old died on the spot. A man driving an SUV was taken to a health care facility with injuries of varying severity.

Right now, an investigative and operational group is working at the scene, which includes investigators of the forensic department of the UCK in the Minsk region. With the involvement of GKSE specialists and traffic police officers, an inspection is carried out, a trace picture is recorded, it is planned to appoint a number of expert studies.

On this fact, the Vileysky District Department of the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 317 (violation of traffic rules or the operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence) of the Criminal Code of Belarus.
