The court left in jail accused of murder at the station “Chapaevskaya”

The Sverdlovsk regional court considered the appeal of the lawyer Alexander Galtsov – the accused in the case of the murder of a pensioner at the railway station “Chapaevskaya”.

The defense challenged the decision of the Leninsky district court of the city of October 10, 2026, which in respect of Galtsov was elected a measure of restraint in the form of detention. This is reported by the press service of the courts of the Sverdlovsk region.

Alexander Galtsov is charged under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”). According to the investigation, he was involved in the death of a local resident, which occurred on April 26, 2025. Then to solve the crime on the “hot trail” failed.

Having heard the positions of the parties, the court of appeal left the decision of the first instance unchanged. Alexander Galtsov will remain in custody until November 21, 2026 inclusive.
