The witness of the attack did not let a jealous Abakanite kill his beloved

The Supreme Court of Khakassia upheld the verdict of the Abakan City Court in a criminal case against a 29-year-old resident of the capital of the republic. The man had previously been convicted of attempted murder.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, the Abakan came home to his beloved woman. Jealous of her, grabbed a knife, and once struck in the chest.

The woman was killed by a man who was also in the apartment at the time. He knocked the knife out of the attacker and called an ambulance. Thanks to the timely help of doctors, the Abakanka survived.

The court appointed the jealous six years of imprisonment in a correctional colony of strict regime. The sentence has entered into force.
