Tragedy at the plant in Novopolotsk: the worker died during the repair of the gate
In Novopolotsk, the causes of the deadly incident are being investigated: a 38-year-old worker died under the collapsed gates of the workshop during self-repair. Investigators appointed examinations and study documentation on labor protection.
Investigators in Novopolotsk understand the causes of the tragic death of an employee of one of the local enterprises. On November 5, the 38-year-old molder was performing his usual work tasks. After the main work was done, the man decided to independently eliminate the breakdown of the metal gates of the workshop, which for a long time remained unused. This is reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee.
The tragic incident occurred during repair work: the fallen gates caused the death of a man. An investigative team worked at the scene. The investigators inspected the scene, recorded all the details, interviewed witnesses, ordered a forensic examination and seized the necessary documentation relating to occupational health and safety.
Novopolotsk City Department of the Investigative Committee conducts an inspection to fully clarify all the circumstances of the incident. Special attention will be paid to establishing the causes and conditions that led to this tragedy.
