In Armavir, police detained a suspect in fence fraud

In Armavir, a 39-year-old local resident was suspected of fraud after a story with the installation of a fence on the site of a friend. This was told in the press service of the GU MIA of the Russian Federation in the Krasnodar Territory.

A 38-year-old resident of Armavir addressed the police. He said that he gave a friend 210 thousand rubles for the installation of the fence, but he performed only part of the work and stopped communicating.

Police found a 39-year-old man and arrested him. According to law enforcement officers, part of the money he spent on work, and 170 thousand rubles used for personal needs.

The investigative department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Armavir opened a criminal case under part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The maximum penalty under this article is up to five years in prison.
