In the Brazilian metropolis there was a collapse of the building, there are wounded

On Friday evening in the central part of the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo collapsed four-storey building. According to preliminary data, about 20 people were injured as a result of the incident, the G1 information portal reports.

According to the G1 report, 17 people have already been removed from the building and received the necessary medical care. It is noted that, presumably, their damage is mild.

The incident occurred on Maria Joaquina Street in Bras district. According to available information, a clothing store was located inside the collapsed room.

Emergency services recorded the call at 18:38 local time and promptly sent 48 rescuers and 16 units of specialized equipment to the scene. At the moment, employees continue to analyze the rubble and search for possible victims, and the exact causes of the collapse of the building have not yet been established.
