In Minsk, a man during a quarrel with a knife killed a pregnant mistress – he was detained on hot trail

Criminal investigation operatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee with the power support of the fighters of the SPBT "Diamond" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained a 38-year-old Minsk citizen who is suspected of killing a 43-year-old pregnant woman. The man admitted that he had a close relationship with the deceased and knew from her words that she was expecting a child from him. However, he was officially in a different relationship, causing regular conflicts between him and the victim. The defendant admitted that during the next quarrel he repeatedly hit the woman with a kitchen knife, put the body in a travel bag, took the car out of the city and buried, — said the details of the Deputy head of the police of Minsk — the head of the criminal police Maxim Gamola. The police reported the woman’s disappearance from her daughter only two days after the murder. During the day, thanks to a complex of operational-search measures, the suspect was identified and detained, despite the fact that he carefully concealed traces of the crime. He pleaded guilty.
