Sentenced 48-year-old previously not convicted citizen, who was accused of theft on a large scale, told the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti” in the Prosecutor’s office of Pervomaysky district.

In the court hearing, the Minsk woman fully admitted guilt, repented of what she had done, voluntarily compensated for the damage caused.

- The accused has a higher legal education, currently she is not officially employed anywhere, she has a dependent child, is not married, previously she was not brought to criminal and administrative responsibility, said Yulia Lugovskaya, a senior assistant to the prosecutor of the Pervomaysky district, who acted as a state prosecutor in the criminal case. The court found her guilty of secret theft of property (theft), committed on a large scale, and on the basis of Part 3 of Art. 205 of the Criminal Code imposed a punishment of three years imprisonment without a fine.

Applying Part 2 of Art. 77 of the Criminal Code, the court postponed the execution of the sentence for three years, obliging the accused not to change her place of residence without the consent of the body exercising control over the conduct of the convicted person, periodically come to the police for registration, not to travel on personal matters for more than a month outside the city.

The sentence has entered into force.
