In Minsk detained a suspect in the murder of a pregnant woman

In Minsk, criminal investigation operatives with the forceful support of the fighters of SPBT "Diamond" detained a 38-year-old resident of the capital, suspected of killing a 43-year-old pregnant Minsk woman, the correspondent of the agency "Minsk-Novosti".

According to the Interior Ministry, the defendant admitted that he was with the deceased in a close relationship and knew that she was expecting a child from him. At the same time, the man was officially in other relationships, because of which there were regular conflicts between them.

Law enforcement officers found that during the next quarrel the attacker repeatedly stabbed the woman with a knife, put the body in a travel bag, took out of the city and buried. Along the way, he got rid of the evidence - bloodied clothes and a smartphone.

The report of the disappearance came to the police from the daughter of the deceased only two days later.

During the day, thanks to a complex of operational-search measures, the suspect was identified and detained. He pleaded guilty. Investigators opened a criminal case.
