In Minsk detained a suspect in the brutal murder of a pregnant woman
A 38-year-old man has been detained in Minsk on suspicion of murdering a 43-year-old woman. A criminal case was opened on the fact of the crime, the detainee admitted his guilt.
Criminal investigation operatives together with the fighters of SPBT "Diamond" detained a 38-year-old resident of Minsk, who is suspected of murdering a 43-year-old woman. This is reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
The suspect admitted that he had a close relationship with the deceased, and he knew that she was pregnant with him. He was married to another woman, which led to frequent conflicts between him and the victim.
According to the investigation, during another quarrel, the suspect inflicted multiple stab wounds on the woman, then placed the body in a travel bag, took it out of the city and buried it. In the process, he got rid of the evidence: the bloodied clothes and the phone of the deceased.
Relatives contacted the police only two days after the incident. During the day, law enforcement officers conducted a complex of operational-search measures and established the location of the suspect who was detained. He pleaded guilty.
