In Rovenki, the driver hit a 17-year-old girl with a stroller at the crossing
Infant and minor taken to hospital

The tragic incident occurred on November 5 in Rovenki, where the 42-year-old driver of the Lada Vesta car hit pedestrians. Under the wheels of the car was a 17-year-old girl, who at that moment was carrying an eight-month-old baby in a baby carriage.
According to preliminary data of the traffic police, the accident occurred at an unregulated pedestrian crossing, which was equipped with appropriate road signs and markings. As a result of the collision, a minor pedestrian and an infant received injuries of varying severity.
The victims were immediately taken by the ambulance team to the nearest medical facility for examination and provision of necessary assistance.
Police officers are now establishing all the circumstances of the incident. In turn, the State Traffic Inspectorate once again appeals to drivers to reduce speed before crossings, and to pedestrians to make sure of the safety of the maneuver.
