In Solnechnogorsk dump truck demolished the above-ground crossing: traffic on the Leningrad highway paralyzed for kilometers

In the Moscow region there was a serious traffic accident, which led to a complete stop in one of the key directions. The incident occurred in the area of the village of Peshki near Solnechnogorsk.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the emergency was a dump truck, moving with a raised body. On the move, the heavy truck touched the design of an above-ground pedestrian crossing through the Leningrad highway. The bridge could not withstand a strong impact: the structures fell off the supports and collapsed directly on the roadway.

As a result of the incident, traffic on the highway was completely blocked. At the moment, all lanes in both directions are closed. Due to the accident, a giant traffic jam was formed - the congestion stretched for about 4 kilometers. Drivers are advised to choose alternative detour routes.

Emergency services and traffic police officers work on the spot, who have to find out all the circumstances of the incident and restore movement. Information about the victims is being clarified.
