In Voronezh after hitting a pensioner and her granddaughter opened a criminal case

In Voronezh, law enforcement officers began a criminal case in connection with an accident on Kholzunov Street, in which an elderly woman and a three-year-old girl were injured. As reported in the Prosecutor’s office of the region, the decision was made on the instructions of the head of the department Sergey Filipenko.

According to preliminary information, the incident occurred the night before. Skoda Octavia under the control of 49-year-old woman moved from the street Antonov-Ovseenko in the direction of Vladimir Nevsky. Near the house No. 109, the car hit a pensioner and a child.

Both victims were taken to hospital. The regional Ministry of Health clarified that they are in intensive care; their condition is assessed by doctors as severe. According to the source, the victims are each other’s grandparents.
