In Vladimir detained 18-year-old serial thief

Employees of the criminal investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Vladimir revealed a series of property crimes and detained the suspect. He was an 18-year-old local resident. Investigator SU MIA defendant charged with 9 episodes of criminal activity.

According to police, the total damage from the actions of the young man exceeded 150 thousand rubles. The list of the abducted included food, headphones from chain stores, as well as a bicycle, a scooter and two electric scooters. In addition, at the end of September, the attacker found a bank card and paid it in several outlets, causing damage to the owner in the amount of about 20 thousand rubles.

It was established that the vehicles were stolen from the entrances and streets, as they were not equipped with anti-theft devices. In the course of operational-search activities, the threat officers identified the thief and detained him on one of the streets of the city. Some of the stolen property has already been seized and will be returned to its rightful owners.

A criminal case was initiated against the suspect under Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The court chose him a preventive measure in the form of detention.
