Drinking Minsk woman jealous wife and stabbed him in the stomach

A criminal case has been sent to the court against a 42-year-old previously unconvicted citizen who is accused of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, the Frunze district prosecutor’s office told the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti news agency.

The accused on his day off, while at home, drank rum with his husband. In the midst of the feast, he called a woman and began to communicate with her. She did not like it, she was jealous of her faithful.

The verbal quarrel between the spouses quickly turned into a fight. Suddenly, the Minsk woman grabbed a knife from the table and stabbed her husband in the stomach. Realizing what she had done, she reported the incident to relatives who called an ambulance.

Doctors took the 37-year-old victim to the hospital. According to the experts, he suffered serious bodily harm on the grounds of danger to life. A criminal case was opened against his wife.

- The accused works as a nurse in one of the capital’s hospitals, previously she was not brought to criminal responsibility, said Daniil Tarima, deputy prosecutor of the Frunze district. She was charged with a crime under Part 1 of Art. 147 of the Criminal Code (deliberately causing grievous bodily harm, that is, life-threatening damage). The citizen fully admitted the guilt, repented of what she had done.
