During the day in the Kursk region recorded more than 7 thousand traffic violations

During October 27, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate registered 7,052 violations of traffic rules on the roads of the Kursk region. The vast majority of them, 6,763 cases, were detected using photo and video cameras.

Particular attention was paid to the sobriety of drivers. According to the results of the raids, 5 motorists who were in a state of intoxication were suspended from driving. Another driver refused to undergo a medical examination, the traffic police said in the Kursk region.

In addition, a criminal case was initiated against one citizen under Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The man is suspected of re-driving a car under the influence.
