The director of the capital’s furniture company was detained – the damage to customers exceeded 1 million BYN

The capital company for about 15 years successfully worked in the furniture market, but faced difficulties and stopped fulfilling orders on time, accepting them with prepayment. The amount of damage exceeded 1 million BYN, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti” with reference to the interior Ministry.

Clients of the company contacted the police. They paid for the ordered kitchen sets, but did not receive them on time. According to preliminary data, the business ceased to cope with orders, but still accepted new ones. This allowed to cover debts according to the model of a financial pyramid.
