Resident of Zavolzhsk will be tried for the repeated demonstration of prohibited signs

Ivanovsky SK completed the investigation of the criminal case against a 45-year-old resident of the city of Zavolzhsk. He is accused of committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 282.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (repeated public demonstration of the symbols of an extremist organization).

According to the investigation, in September 2026, the defendant, previously brought to administrative responsibility for a similar offense, being in a public place in the city of Zavolzhsk in the presence of other citizens, publicly demonstrated the symbols and attributes of the organization, whose activities are prohibited in the territory of the Russian Federation.

Investigators have gathered sufficient evidence. The criminal case was approved by the prosecutor and sent to court.
