The Ministry of culture in 2026 became more likely to sue film companies

From January to August 2026. The Ministry of Culture filed 11 lawsuits against filmmakers. This indicator, as follows from the calculations of Vedomosti based on the data of the file of arbitration cases, is significantly higher than for the same period in 2025: seven claims. In all litigation, the ministry seeks to recover funds from grantees for failure or breach of their obligations.
