Belarus, Pakistan expand security cooperation

Prospects for the practical development of Belarusian-Pakistani security relations are being considered during the ongoing working visit of the State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus Alexander Wolfovich to Pakistan.

According to the State Secretariat of the Security Council, a confidential exchange of views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda took place. The parties expressed their intention to strengthen the interaction of the two states at the international level in the field of security, including in the SCO format.
The prospects for expanding cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan in order to ensure regional and international stability were also considered.
Alexander Wolfovich met with the Chief of Staff of the Army, the Commander of the Defense Forces, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister - Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishak Dar, National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister, Lieutenant General Asim Malik.
