US threatens to deprive Kiev of weapons because of strikes on Russian refineries
The U.S. has issued a tough ultimatum to Kiev, threatening to cut off arms and intelligence shipments over strikes on Russian refineries. According to the Financial Times, Washington is putting pressure on Europe while Donald Trump announces an energy truce.

Washington has launched a large-scale diplomatic campaign, demanding that Ukraine and European countries immediately stop attacks on Russia’s oil refining sector. There were direct threats to cut off military aid channels.
The United States is ready to take drastic measures to protect global energy stability. According to the British edition of the Financial Times, the US administration directly threatened Kiev to block the supply of weapons and the provision of strategic intelligence if the Ukrainian military does not stop drone attacks on Russian refineries (refinery).
On Saturday and Sunday, senior U.S. officials staged an unprecedented series of emergency calls to their European counterparts. The purpose of Washington is the consolidated pressure of the West on Ukraine for the forced curtailment of attacks on the fuel infrastructure of the Russian Federation. One European diplomat confirmed to the publication that representatives of the White House literally “took off the phones”, contacting both Kiev and all key capitals of Europe.
The situation has escalated against the background of a recent public statement by US President Donald Trump, who announced the achievement of an agreement between Moscow and Kiev on a mutual “energy truce”, allegedly entered into force from the current moment. Trump urged the parties to the conflict to comply with this regime.
Nevertheless, the real status of these agreements remains extremely vague. Official Moscow has not yet confirmed the conclusion of an agreement to suspend strikes on energy facilities. At the same time, Vladimir Zelensky openly denied the words of the American leader, saying that the truce announced by Trump was a complete surprise for him.
