A big conversation about tourism: Lukashenko will personally check the industry’s readiness to double its income
The Presidential Administration is preparing a large-scale event to audit the tourism sector. Dmitry Krutoy told why this item will appear in the schedule of the Head of State before the end of the year and what goals are set for Belarusian resorts and guides.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko intends to organize a large-scale inspection and assess the current results of the development of the tourism industry in the republic by the end of this year. The relevant information on the air of the TV channel “Belarus 1” was shared by the head of the Presidential Administration Dmitry Krutoy.
“An interesting direction, I think, will be events related to (maybe summing up is a big word) a certain control section of tourism,” said Dmitry Krutoy.
He also drew attention to the fact that the tourism industry has an important role in the state program of social and economic development of Belarus for the five-year period from 2026 to 2030. The industry has a strategic goal - to increase the share of tourism in the formation of the gross domestic product of the country twice.
“The President is still working on options where and how. But a big conversation on the topic of tourism will certainly be held, the head of the Presidential Administration said.
