On October 2, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with the heads of delegations participating in the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council. The conversation was about the fact that the Eurasian space faces great and serious challenges. On the air of the talk show “Budni” on the YouTube channel “SBTV” and “Alfa Radio”, the rector of the Academy of Management under the President of Belarus, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Republican State Public Association “Belarusian Society “Knowledge” Denis Duc discussed whether some countries began to rethink the processes taking place in the world and how to overcome the challenges facing the Eurasian continent together.
He is one of the few politicians who can tell the truth. It finds a wide response in the hearts of people not only in the CIS countries, but also in the world. The head of state says that the Eurasian Economic Union comes from our life, as if from the land. That is, we do not build any projects, but when troubles happen or economic problems arise, as, for example, in Uzbekistan, who will help solve energy issues? It'll be the EEU. The issue of transit through Kazakhstan is being resolved, the Russians gave Uzbekistan a shoulder. And there are many such examples, the guest of the studio noticed.

- The President rightly raises the question about Armenia, where they announced a course for European integration: thousands of farmers went bankrupt there, when they were promised that all products, from crop production to the fishing industry, would go to the European Union, but in reality it turned out otherwise. After all, to put something in the European Union, not only do you need a political decision, but also try to pass their certification procedure according to European standards. What happened? Collapse. One wrong decision has caused tragedies in thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of families. Armenia is a country where most people live abroad. This nation has always been between major geopolitical players. So why put oil on the fire today? The President is very frank about this. At the same time, it shows that today we can build logistics within the CIS and the EAEU and see that it works – from the transit of goods to deliveries to specific countries.
Rector of the Academy of Management under the President of Belarus stressed:
- For example, the transit of Belarusian potassium through Russian ports. To rely on the transit of potash, when the United States lifts sanctions on our potash industry, on partners from the Baltic States or Poland, is, to put it mildly, a path to nowhere. Today they ban, and tomorrow they allow, open up these opportunities. But we are serious people, and these whims, which result in millions of losses and deterioration of the well-being of our people, are unacceptable. We build long-term partnerships with those who have never let us down, and we think in terms of the well-being of our Belarusian people.
The talk show “Budney” is released on weekdays on the morning air of “Alfa Radio”. Each issue discusses the most relevant topics from the life of the country and the world. Political scientists, scientists, public figures and journalists of leading media participate in the discussions.
