Igor Sergeenko arrives in Azerbaijan to attend CICA summit on behalf of Belarus President
The plans of the visit include a discussion of sustainable development, a visit to production facilities where firefighting equipment with Pozhsnab technologies are assembled, and a series of bilateral negotiations.
From a large-scale dialogue on peace and security to expanding trade and economic cooperation. Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeenko arrived in Azerbaijan, where, on behalf of the President, he will take part in the summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia.
Leaders of participating countries, representatives of major international associations, including the UN and the OSCE, will gather in Baku. Igor Sergeenko will speak at the plenary session of the international forum.
Minsk always has something to discuss with its partners on security, sustainable development and confidence-building in the region. Moreover, our country is an observer in the organization. On October 13, a visit to key production enterprises is planned.
At the Ganja Automobile Plant, cooperation of this giant with MTZ and MAZ was discussed. About 15,000 Belarusian tractors have been assembled here in less than two decades. In parallel, there is an assembly of special fire and communal equipment on the basis of the MAZ chassis using advanced technologies of the Pozhsnab enterprise. Our delegation will also visit a number of facilities for the development of humanitarian cooperation. A series of bilateral talks are planned.
